A. Is not about her being afraid or anything like that...who cares, the problem is if she is an adult and verbally abused you kids then she's pretty screwed.; No adult can just go and tell a minor off. She can get arrested. So her stupid ass would have been the one in trouble if she called the cops if you kids were to say she was verbally abusing you guys. get it?

How do people judge the personalities of attractive people?
Q. I heard that people generally assume that people who are "obviously attractive" have bland personalities. This of course is before people actually get to know them. Do you feel this way? Why or why not? I'll answer, too (for once). I will say that when I see people who I believe society considers "obviously attractive" my first assumption is that they're more outgoing and extroverted, which may or may not be a good thing depending on my mood. Discuss.
Asked by Qwerty - Fri Nov 6 17:45:08 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I'm guilty of this assumption, and to be honest, in most cases I'm right. They tend to be more self-centered than most, and their values are different from mine. Yeah they can be charismatic and social, but it still says nothing about their true personality. Although, I try to veer from making such judgments before knowing the person.

How do black people think about white people fighting for their rights?
Q. I have been wondering lately, after watching a Theroux documentary about black nationalists about how do black people feel about white people fighting for black rights. I can imagine some being offended as it really shows that white people have enough rights to fight for somebody else and other black people liking it because it might give them more chance in life. This may sound weird, but I am directing this to question to black people as I would just like to hear your opinion on this. Thanks.

A. I am a proud African American, member of the human family, and a daughter of Civil Rights and Black Power people. 1. I think that it is fine that other people want to help us out. I think that all people should help other people who aren't like them. 2. I think we should celebrate the people who helped us. Ebony magazine always had all the "martyrs" on the Civil Rights movement in a few special issues each year and many of them were White. 3. Now, as nice as outside help is, our people should always be self-directed and not depend on the help of others. The "dependent' mentality is a hold-over from slavery and many of our people still have it. And other people don't always want to help us. Those points are the major contention… [cont.]

What happens to people when their unemployment benefits run out?
Q. This is happening all over the country. Where are these people supposed to go to get help? Yes, I have already heard some suggestions. For instance, the churches, and the Salvation Army. But their resources are also limited!! Places like these, could provide a hot meal and clothing, but I am quite sure they can't pay for the peoples rent, and utilities! Can these people apply for Welfare and food stamps now, just to be able to keep a roof over their heads and be able to feed their families? Aren't these people just as eligible to receive Government aid as the people who ARE on Welfare and never actually worked a day in their lives? A. I honestly don't know how people survive after UI benefits run out. Not that most people can do more than survive on UI benefits to begin with. The link below is where you can find information on government jobs. If you are not already employed by the Federal government, you need a college degree plus advanced education to qualify for a job as a secretary earning $43,000 a year. Jobs are located all over the country, but I doubt that the "average" citizen can get one because of the education requirements. You really really need to be already employed by the government. Entry level positions? No clue. I lucked out in a way because I was 64 1/2 when my company was bought out and about 400 of us were laid off across the country. My… [cont.]

What kind of people typically fall prey to predatory cults like Scientology, JW s and the Mormons?
Q. It seems like they target people who think they are different from other people. From what I know of Scientology, it uses tactics designed to exploit people who think they have some kind of hidden ability inside themselves. JW s and the Mormons have made dogma designed to appeal to people who think they are holier, more pious and more virtuous than other people, right? What do you think?

A. Wrong. Predatory cult? Put up or shut up, my dear. The people whose lives are blessed by Jesus within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do not hate you. If anything, we love you and pity you for the distress we seem to be causing you, however inadvertently. I think you should definitely get professional help for your eschatohierophobia. You'll be much happier, and you might even become a Christian. "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." Q. I have been on other forums and facebook and myspace and generally people there seem more closed minded, immature and less caring. There are so many hate games and immature comments and offending other people going on. I come on here and people are so welcoming and caring, or most people are. Does anyone else find this? Could it do with the age and level of intelligence and life experience. Considering most people on facebook are in their early teens and 20s and not as mature as people on here.

Why people knows the right way in investment & he willing to teach others while he can make a lot of money?
Q. Why some smart people knows the way about investment and he could make a lot of money, BUT still want to teach others how to invest? For example, like some people play stock market. They willing to tell people what would be the trend of a stock or they would write a book to let other people know how to make money. I don't understand. If they kept the serect, they could make so much money to themselve. Why tell other how to do?
Asked by TeChen H - Tue Dec 18 11:34:49 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Well the truth is that people who really making a lot of money don't really teach you how to do it. Did you ever hear Warren Buffet teach people how to pick stock. You should read the book value investing. Warren Buffet never want to disclose his secret of investing or the stock that he will be investing in. So what do you think make this people want to share their way of investment, it is because it is easier to make money from you than from the stock market :) If you are willing to pay me $3000 I don;t mind teaching you how to invest in stock :)

What do people often forget to consider when choosing a breed?
Q. What should people consider why starting to choose a breed? What is often overlooked when people fall in love with a breed? Does this generally happen because people don't consider it at all, or because they think they can make the dog adapt to it because they really want the breed even though it isn't a good fit? What were some of the worst breed choices you have seen people make?
Asked by sciencechick - Mon Nov 17 17:23:29 2008 - - 15 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The most overlooked would be the dog's energy level, grooming needs and basic breed characteristics. It's appalling to me that people think they can keep a breed like a german shepherd or border collie in an apartment. Or think a dog like a lab is good with a half hour walk a day. My pet peeve is people who buy a gorgeous, long-haired breed (afghans come to mind!), then keep their hair cut short because they're too bloody lazy to groom the dog. Then there's those who are dismayed because their terriers dig and bark, their beagles bay, etc. Too many people in this world of instant gratification are lacking the common sense to research a breed before getting it - then when they find they can't groom, train or exercise it, the dog ends… [cont.]

This is what you're probably looking at for your journal, except you're referencing to 'evil in human'. Philosophy and Theology once had a debate about the cause of evil in the world like hypothesizing whether it s a metaphysical nature (which competes with goodness) or because of the free will of humankind; simply free will vs. determinism. Many religious beliefs also state that it s because of a devil and his fault; uhh.. Hellooo, is it God s fault then for creating the devil?! A. Its all about teaching you to be able to function under pressure and stress. Its a training technique to cause stress. Repeated over and over you become immune to the outside distractions, and focus on the job at hand. Another one is constant repetition. Do it over and over again. In a real world, emergency or combat situation, you will revert to your training and not fall apart under the stress, Just rely on your training and do it the same way you were taught.

A. Yes. A very good friend of mine, who took great care of himself had picked up Pancreatic Cancer. He lasted only a few months. I do not have an answer, except that in spite of what we do, we can't control the hidden destiny. Smokers can live to old age, and the good die young. Q. Why are people in general more kinder to attractive people and meaner to less attractive people? For people who are mean to overweight people, some people are naturally big-boned and even if they loose weight they won't be skinny. A. Check out either "Please Understand Me" or the Meyers Briggs work on personality. (Books or online) Extroverts are those who replenish themselves by being with others, love parties, drop in friends etc. Introverts recharge by alone time. They need to have personal space, few intrusions and usually hate parties, chit chat, and have maybe one or two best friends. They prefer serious discussions about ideas, concepts etc. To most extroverts, a stranger is just a friend they haven't met yet. "Please Understand Me II" breaks things down into 16 combinations and what professions are good matches for each one. They seem pretty accurate to me.
